Referral deadline calculator
The official wording is "23:59 on the last day of the second month following the day of the referral login". That is hard to read quickly. Enter your date below and this works it out for you.
What has to be finished by that date
All three of these, not just the first:
- Your application for the SAIKYO Plan or SAIKYO U-NEXT is submitted and accepted.
- Your SIM or eSIM is activated and the line is in use.
- You have made a call longer than 10 seconds from inside the Rakuten Link app.
The deadline depends on the month you clicked, not the exact day. Clicking on the 28th of a month gives you nearly four weeks less than clicking on the 1st of the same month.
How the calculation works
Take the month you clicked. Count forward two months. Your deadline is the last day of that month, at 23:59 Japan time.
- Clicked in August → deadline is 31 October
- Clicked in September → deadline is 30 November
- Clicked in December → deadline is 28 or 29 February
Ready to apply?
You must open the link below and log in with your Rakuten ID first, then apply in the same session. If you apply first and click the link afterwards, the bonus is cancelled for both people. This cannot be fixed later.
So only click when your documents are ready and you are going to finish the application now. Clicking weeks early starts your deadline early.
